Chapter 5

"Edward, are you still moping about this?" I asked as I entered his room.
He didn't answer me, he didn't even look at me. All he did was sit lazily on his futon and stare at the floor.
"Edward, you're going to have to get over this sooner or later."
"Easy for you to say," he finally spoke.
I let out a sigh and said, "Edward, I don't even know if that vision was real. You know how screwed up they are."
"Yes, I know," he said.
"So are you going to get over this and go downstairs? You've been locked up here for 2 weeks."
"I guess...," he muttered.
"Good. Now me and Rosalie are going shopping. I'll be back later," I started.
When I reached his doorway, I stopped and looked back at him.
"And... here's a tip. Call her Bella," I smiled.
"Alice!" Edward yelled. I giggled.

~--~
By the time Rosalie and I returned, there was another family meeting being held.
"I was thinking the Denalis," Carlisle was finishing.
"What about them?" Rosalie inturrepted.
But I already heard this conversation. Carlise set up this meeting to discuss moving again. We all graduated from high school just last year, and it was time to leave before anyone started getting suspicious about our aging. Carlisle suggested we go stay with the Alaskan vampire coven. It would be nice, considering we haven't seen Tanya, Kate, or Irina for a decade or two. And I've seen visions of Irina and her new mate. I'd love to meet him.

~--~
It was all but quiet near the forest in Forks. About six miles off, a man and woman were getting into an already heated fight.
"Renee! I can change!" the man pleaded.
"Charlie, this is one of those things where we can't talk it out. If I don't leave, I'm going to be stuck here, and I don't want that!" the woman yelled.
"But what about our daughter?"
"She can come visit any time she wishes, but for now, she's in my custody!
"That's not fair! I should have some custody over her!"
"Charlie, you're acting like a child again! So until you can pull your life together, she stays with me!"
This fight was reaching it's ending point, but it was too good to just listen to! I jumped from my bedroom balcony with one graceful leap, and darted through the forest with another.
In a matter of seconds, I had reached the house where the argument had taken place. So I sprung up a tree to get a better view. Below me, a young woman with blond hair was arguing with a man with dark brown hair. They were on the front porch of a white house that looked kinda shabby, in my view anyways.
"Charlie, I'm through! I'm leaving and taking Bella with me!" Renee yelled.
Bella!? Isabella Marie Swan?! Edward's future love!? The same Bella I saw in my vision was here in Forks!?
"Renee! Don't do this to me!" Charlie begged.
The blond Renee finally walked in the warn down house and returned with a pale, dark brown haired child. So that was Bella. Well, she certianly was pretty, I'll give Edward that. Hopefully she can dress as good as she looks.
The small Bella had a look of worry on her face. Amost as if she was afraid to go with her mother. Renee dragged her daughter to a black pickup truck and drove away.
"Bella... Renee... no...," Charlie sobbed.
As much as I wasn't fond of humans, I pitied the man. He lost everything he ever loved in a matter of moments. I would be just as hurt, or worst, if I had lost Jasper or Jason. I was so desprate to go and confort him, but I knew I couldn't. Instead, I snuck into his house and searched for his kitchen. I saw that there was a half used to-do pad on the counter with a pen beside it. I ripped off one of the pages and wrote:

Charlie,
It will be alright. I promise.
    ~ Alice

He wouldn't know who wrote it because he knew no Alices. I would be in the clear! I left it on the counter and hurried out as I heard the doorknow jiggle. I returned to my tree to see his reaction. The note was left by the sink and, just as planned,Charlie went to get a drink. That's when he read it. He looked around to see if I was anywhere, but he found no one. Charlie looked at the note again and said, "Alice? I don't know an Alice."
Yes! My plan worked just as I saw it! I gave a giggle and lept from my tree, off to my home before anyone noticed I was gone.
After weeks of writer's block, I have finished. Hope you like this chapter, cuz this is probably the longest one I've ever done in my life!

Characters (c)- Stephenie Meyer
Jason (c)- Me

EDIT:
I forgot to add that this scene takes place 5 years AFTER Bella was born. So she's only 5.
